This ribbon has minor imperfections, but is ideal for felting, toy making and craft work.  

There are many reasons why a length of ribbon has been classed as imperfect.  For example, it may have a feathery edge or diagonal creases or a wavy edge or be slightly less than 25mm wide.  

Also, these packs have been accumulating over time.  This means that there may be a slight variation in colour between packs with the same name.  

Pure silk chiffon bias ribbon, 25mm (1") wide.  The featherlight chiffon (6 momme, 26g sq.m) is imported from Germany and dyed in Italy by DHG to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

** Please note that a bias cut ribbon always has splices along its length, and these occur at approximately 2.5m intervals.  This is not a defect and you should expect your ribbon length to have splices, even if you order one metre.  There is an image in the gallery which shows a splice. **
