DHG merino wool roving for needle and wet felting, spinning and fibre art.  The extra fine fibre (≈19 micron, 80s on the Bradford Scale) is soft to the skin and migrates easily into silk and cotton, making it ideal for nuno felting. Cool water and gentle throwing will felt the fibre; there is no need to use hot water unless rapid shrinking is required.

DHG, based in the heart of Tuscany, has a strong commitment to the environment and takes care to minimize the ecological impact of every part of their production.  This commitment includes using only merino that is certified as mulesing free, making their headquarters 100% electrically self-sufficient and processing the fibre to Oeko-Tex standards.  

A few things you should know before you purchase ...

• All quoted weights and lengths are approximate;
• The actual colour of the fibre may vary from that shown on your monitor;
• There may be a slight difference in colour between batches. Your order will be fulfilled from the same batch, but we cannot guarantee that subsequent orders will be identical;
• With the exception of the 50g weight, the roving will be packaged folded.
