Moulin Rouge | DHG Merino Roving | 50g
- Description
The well-known painting by Toulouse-Lautrec, 'Moulin Rouge’, is the inspiration for the tones in this roving. To create the roving, the wool top is space dyed, then two strands are offset drafted to create a roving that changes tones throughout the length.
Available in 20g and 50g individually labelled packs, the fibre will be supplied in a continuous length and pulled, not cut, to prevent damage to the staple. The tops weight averages 23g/m, the length two metres per 50g.
DHG, based in the heart of Tuscany, has a strong commitment to the environment and takes care to minimize the ecological impact of every part of their production. This commitment includes using only merino that is certified as mulesing free, making their headquarters 100% electrically self-sufficient and processing the fibre to Oeko-Tex standards.
