Where do we despatch to?
The Nutwood Collection despatches to addresses in England, Scotland (including Highlands and Islands), Wales, the Scilly Isles, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland.
We do not despatch to PO Box Numbers or to addresses outside the United Kingdom or Channel Islands.
When will we Despatch?
We aim to despatch orders on the same or next business day. Our business days are Monday-Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
What is the Cost of Delivery?
The delivery charge for fibre is calculated based on the combined weight of the items. The notional weight for Margilan silk is 50g, irrespective of the meterage.

What are the Delivery Options?
There are three Delivery Options: Next Day, Expedited and Standard. The carrier for most parcels is Royal Mail. Some larger parcels are despatched via DHL.
Please note that the ‘Delivery Estimate’ is set by the carrier and is an estimate, not a guarantee. This means that, at busy times such as Christmas, parcels can take considerably longer to arrive – particularly ‘Standard’ parcels.

If the order is received before 10:30am, Monday to Thursday, it will be despatched on the same day for delivery before 1pm the following day.
Orders received after 10:30am on Friday, on Saturday, Sunday or a Bank Holiday will be posted on Monday (except when this is a Bank Holiday).

Item Not Arrived?
If the parcel has not arrived by the expected date, please check that it has not been left in a safe place, with a neighbour, or is waiting for you at the local Delivery Office. Most parcels arrive on time or within a couple of days of the latest Delivery Estimate.
However, Royal Mail deliveries are sometimes delayed by Covid, HGV driver shortage and industrial action, and the Christmas period always poses a challenge to them. If the parcel has not arrived 10 days from the date you receive the Despatch Notification, please contact The Nutwood Collection and we will, depending on your preference, either refund the cost or replace the items.
If the items are urgently required, please ensure that you select ‘Next Day’ or ‘Expedited’ delivery at checkout. These services are usually more reliable than ‘Standard’ delivery.
Item Damaged in Transit?
Please contact The Nutwood Collection immediately if items are found to be damaged on arrival. We will send a return label and, depending on your preference, either give a refund or replace the items.
The refund or replacement will be processed as soon as the damaged goods are received by the Nutwood Collection and we are satisfied that the items were damaged in transit and not after delivery.
Item Not What You Wanted?
If you change your mind about an item, you are entitled to return it up to 14 days from the latest estimated date of delivery. For example, if a parcel is despatched on October 1st by ‘Standard’ delivery, the estimate is five days from despatch – October 6th. This means that the return must be despatched on or before October 20th.
If you decide to return an item, please inform The Nutwood Collection that a return is being made, despatch the parcel using a tracked carrier (for example the Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ service) and make sure you retain the Proof of Postage receipt.
It is in your interests to ensure that you despatch the parcel using a tracked service. A refund will not be issued for any non-tracked parcel that does not arrive or for a parcel (tracked or untracked) for which no Proof of Posting is available for inspection.
When the item(s) arrive in perfect condition a refund for the purchase price of the items will be issued. ‘Perfect condition’ means that the items are capable of being resold and are the weight that was despatched. You will not be entitled to a refund of the cost you incur in returning the item(s) to us.
