1. The Policy.
This policy sets out the returns policy for goods or services purchased through the online store operated by The Nutwood Collection.
2. Change of Mind Returns.
If you change your mind about an item, you are entitled to return it up to 14 days from the latest estimated date of delivery. For example, if a parcel is despatched on October 1st by ‘Standard’ delivery, the estimate is five days from despatch – October 6th. This means that the return must be despatched on or before October 20th.
If you decide to return an item, please inform The Nutwood Collection that a return is being made, despatch the parcel using a tracked carrier (for example the Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ service) and make sure you retain the Proof of Postage receipt.
It is in your interests to ensure that you despatch the parcel using a tracked service. A refund will not be issued for any non-tracked parcel that does not arrive or for a parcel (tracked or untracked) for which no Proof of Posting is available for inspection. You will not be entitled to a refund of the cost you incur in returning the item(s) to us.
When the item(s) arrive in perfect condition a refund will be issued. ‘Perfect condition’ means that the item(s) are unused and in the same condition that you received them, are capable of being resold and are the correct weight. The refund will be for the original purchase price for the item(s), and the original postage and packaging charges.
The refund will be credited to your original method of payment within a five days of the receipt of the item(s).
3. Item(s) Faulty or Damaged in Transit.
Please contact The Nutwood Collection immediately if items are found to be faulty or damaged in transit. We will send a return label and, depending on your preference, either give a refund or replace the items.
It is your responsibility to package the item(s), obtain a Proof of Posting (PoP), retain the PoP and make it available for inspection by The Nutwood Collection if requested to do so.
The refund or replacement will be processed as soon as the damaged goods are received by the Nutwood Collection and we are satisfied that the items are faulty or were damaged in transit and not after delivery.
If you elect to receive a refund, it will be credited to your original method of payment within five days.
4. Refund Not Received.
If you haven't received a refund yet where we have told you we have issued one, please check your bank account or card statement to make sure it hasn't been received and then contact your bank as some banks or card companies take a number of days to credit your account.
5. Discount Vouchers.
If an item you purchased was purchased with a discount voucher, then we will only refund the amount that you paid (and not the amount the item was listed for).
